Applications for more than 1,790 Church School vacancies for the next scholastic year will be received between January and February.
Boys whose names were last year submitted for admission to the first year of kindergarten as “Other Applicants” need not re-apply.
The ballot could not be held in this sector last year and therefore applications remain valid for admission to the second year of kindergarten. Parents should check that the names of their sons are on the list published on www.maltadiocese.org.
Applications for Church Home children, siblings, staff relatives, transfers and schooling without continuity will be received on January 9, 10, 16 and 17 at St Elias College, Sta Venera, and the Minor Seminary in Rabat. For grave humanitarian cases parents should call 2779 0077 on January 9, 10 or 11.
For other grave humanitarian cases, parents should phone on the same number on January 30 or 31, or February 1.
Applications for admission to the first year of kindergarten will be received on February 16, 17, 23 and 24 at St Angela School, Msida and Żabbar, St Augustine College in Pieta, St Francis in Msida and Theresa Nuzzo School, Ħamrun.
Applications for admission to the second year of kindergarten will be received on January 23, 24, 30 or 31 at St Angela Msida and Zabbar, St Augustine, Pieta, St Joseph School Blata l-Bajda, Stella Maris Balzan, St Aloysius Birkirkara and Theresa Nuzzo, Ħamrun.
Applications for primary school Year One will be received on January 26 or 27, or February 2 and 3 at De La Salle in Vittoriosa, St Paul’s Missionary College in Rabat, Albert College in Valletta, St Elias in Sta Venera, St Michael College in Sta Venera , Stella Maris or St Aloysius in Balzan.
Applications for primary school Year Four will be received on February 6,7, 13 and 14 at St Paul’s Missionary College in Rabat, St Albert in Valletta and St Michael in Sta Venera.
Applications for secondary school will open on February 8, 9, 16 and 17 at St Paul’s Missionary College, St Albert, St Aloysius and St Michael.
The Curia warned that children who are admitted in breach of regulations will be liable for expulsion.
