Live cribs in Lija and Kirkop

December 4th to 26th – Lija

A live crib will be on at St Andrew Street, Lija, from today until Boxing Day. It is open on Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays from 5.30 tot 8.30 p.m.

The crib consists of 12 live scenes involving some 100 actors in Biblical costumes, accompanied by live animals.

The live crib includes a mechanised windmill and a live stream passing through the whole of this quaint street in Lija.

The crib is being put up by the St Andrew Society.

• The Kirkop Pageant Group is organising a live crib, also featuring scenes of Bethlehem village life at the time of the birth of Jesus.

This will be held next Sunday and on December 12, at the local primary school from 4.30 p.m.
