Bank of Valletta recently presented the annual awards for its staff suggestion scheme for the past financial year. A record 1,703 suggestions were put forward this year.
The scheme encourages employees to come forward and suggest ways to enhance customer service, increase operational efficiencies, and measures to improve the bank’s relationship with its stakeholders.
Addressing the bank’s branch managers and winning participants during the presentation, Michael Galea, BoV chief officer, Operations, said: “We consider the bank’s human resources to be our most valuable asset and are delighted to note the high level of participation from our staff in the sheme.”
The Customer Service Centre was the unit with the highest number of suggestions for the year and Tania Gauci from the bank’s Training and Consultancy Unit won Best Suggestor award.
