Hot on the heels of his last radio release Music Box, Maltese artist Jean Claude Vancell is back with his second release this year.
Brand new single April Symphony is a self-penned effort featuring an intricate piano riff bridging pop and RnB elements. The song was produced and mixed by Vancell himself and mastered by C.J. Jacobson in California.
Apart from steering his own career, Vancell has also been busy working with other acts. This weekend he has been performing with local band Cruz, who have just won the Best New Artist Award at this year’s MMAs, as part of this year’s Teatru Unplugged line-up.
He is also keeping busy recording new material for release during 2012 and rehearsing ahead of live gigs around Malta. And if that wasn’t enough, Vancell also reviews albums by international Eurovision-related artists for escflashmalta.com on a weekly basis.
