Excessive delay

I am writing to state that my dog was not as fortunate as Rita Dimech Portelli’s cat. In fact, I went to Ċentru San Franġisk on November 6 at about 9 a.m. with my dog after it was hit by a car.

The service offered was, to say the least, very amateurish. I was the first there and after over two and a half hours was still there and the Hungarian vet not knowing what to do. After a while I was told that the X-ray machine had a fault and one of the X-ray image we managed to see indicated that my dog had a dislocated shoulder. I was told to come a day later to operate on it.

To add insult to injury, when I complained to the receptionist about the excessive delay he had the cheek to tell me that at Mater Dei Hospital one has to wait a whole day!

There is no need to say that I took my beloved dog elsewhere and it is now well on the way to full recovery.
