A Briton who suffered a knife wound in Mistra last Saturday today again failed to turn up in court to give evidence in the case instituted against his alleged aggressor, and the police said he has gone missing.

Dane Williams suffered a slash wound to the neck in the incident near Mistra bridge on Saturday afternoon.
He turned up in court on Monday, wearing pygamas, and said all his belongings and his wallet had been stolen.
He failed to turn up for a hearing yesterday and also today, with the Police telling the court he was missing and could not be traced in the addresses he had given to the police.
Franky Cini, who stands accused of seriously injuring Mr Williams, was granted bail against a deposit of €1,000 and a personal guarantee of €20,000.
Sources said that the Briton is central to the case since the three persons who were on the scene of the crime have not given any information to the police.

The court warned Mr Cini not to speak to the Briton and to report his whereabouts to the police if he sees him.

The incident happened when the accused, the victim and another two men were travelling from Gozo, and an argument developed in Mistra. Cini, 30, is denying the charges, claiming he was asleep in the car.
