American Airlines files for bankruptcy protection

An American Airlines passenger waits for his luggage at O'Hare Airport. AMR, the parent company of American and American Eagle Airlines, today filed for bankruptcy protection.

The company's stock plunged about 80 percent on the news.

.......or maybe the administration along the years or it could have been they had a subsidiary on the same lines of Azzura Air..or bad contracts drawn up......keep them coming......who knows Mr Saliba.
