It seems a stationer in Gozo found no better way to dispose of hundreds of locally-published magazines (such as Pink, Antenna, FM) than to dump them in one of the most scenic spots along the internation-ally-protected southern cliffs of Gozo near Ta’ Ċenċ.

The magazines lie in a heap on the cliff edge amid endemic flora and breeding birds. Creativity abounds in the local dumping arena and, to add another touch to the deed, the whole mound was also set on fire, burning the surrounding area. Alas, the printed matter remains...
