Tribute to the stunning Grand Harbour Marina
“We are equipped with all the services and the amenities that any captain would need”
The stunning Grand Harbour in Vittoriosa has been ranked as one of the five most highly-rated marinas in the world by a leading online nautical guide.
PortBooker.com, which features over 8,500 marinas worldwide, listed the marina alongside Festival Marina in Dubai, Real Club Nautico de Palma and Port Adriano in the Balearic Islands and Marina de Portimao in Portugal.
It says: “The marina’s location in one of the largest deep water natural harbours in the world, is perfect for those sailing and cruising the Mediterranean, offering unrivalled views, a stunning setting and access to Malta’s historic capital”.
Ben Stuart, the marina’s general manager said: “These are the achievements we strive for and they prove our ongoing commitment to offer berth holders at Grand Harbour Marina, the highest level of product and service.
“We are proud of this achievement but more importantly, such a result should be of great news to all those who invest in our harbour.”
Meanwhile, Grand Harbour Marina announced that between January and September, 116 superyachts have visited and berthed there, with some of them coming to Malta more than once over the same period.
“Our marketing efforts never stops,” Mr Stuart added.
“We participate in a number of international boat shows and we are present where it matters most. In fact, the recently announced berth sale was concluded at one such event.”
Malta’s location is strategically placed and is handy especially when the weather is unpredictable.
Boats, no matter how large they are, will always need to find their next sheltered port of call when conditions at sea become difficult.
“We are equipped with all the services and the amenities that any captain would need,”said Mr Stuart.
“We are on duty 24 hours a day and have trained staff who are always on call and above all, we have one of the most attractive and scenic marinas in the Mediterranean.
“All this is contributing to the ongoing business and our growing popularity.”
