Flights to Barcelona
Can someone tell me what happened to the flights to Barcelona? Ryanair has stopped flying from Girona airport, Vueling Air flies to Malta only during the summer.
We are missing out on tourists from the Catalan region for six whole months of the year.
Ryanair has a base at El Prat Airport in the heart of Barcelona. Why can’t Ryan-air start flying from El Prat instead of from Girona?
The former is more central and brings more tourists over here.

One can always fly BCN-MAD with Vueling and MAD-MLA with Ryanair .... unless one wants to go extra and take some Alitalia+AirMalta or Swiss Air ... or whatever other high cost airlines one wants!!!

Ryan Air doesn't care about your requiremenents. It only cares about maximum profits from minimum service. The airline will dump a route as and when it pleases and this has clearly happened on a regular basis each year.

Ryan Air is in it for the money and not to serve the people.

Air Malta was no different to Ryanair, it dumped winter flights from Leeds in the winter and eventually dumped the weekly flight (summer) as well. Up come Ryanair and fly twice weekly ALL year. Prices are one third of what Air Malta chrged 3 years ago. My December flight all in £62 return (hand Luggage only). Bargain.
