Online and social media recruitment solutions specialist Careerpassport was well received at the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) annual conference and exhibition.

E-business manager Matthew Caruana said the response from delegates and other exhibitors was overwhelming and that prospects looked bright following an internationalisation process last June.

The conference attracts HR professionals worldwide to learn and share best case practices and to capture the most current HR trends from high quality speakers. These include top professionals from companies like Vodafone Global Enterprise, John Lewis, BskyB, O2, Sony Ericsson and many more.

Careerpassport also delivered a presentation discussing the shift from traditional recruitment to online recruitment, backed by key research and facts that show the significance of such a shift as well as its immediacy.

The event was held in Manchester between November 8 and 10 and was attended by over 3,000 participants.
