A play which dwells on our state of doubt, suspicion and mistrust is being staged at St James Cavalier.
Theatre company Talenti presents Mixja fid-Dlam, written by the producer Mario Micallef. It tells the story of Albert, almost 60, who has lived most of his life with his loving mother.
Due to the excessive workload of his business, he cannot take care of her and hires the services of a maid, Tania.
However, his mother, who suffers from epilepsy dies a sudden death while under the care of the maid.
The story continues with Albert who decides to ask the maid to take care of him instead.
Mixja fid-Dlam tackles the difficult questions that ensue in such a situation.
Mario Micallef, Moira Muscat, Ray Abdilla and Lisa Cutajar make up the cast list. Zep Camilleri directs.
