New general manager for Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay

Corinthia Hotels has announced the appointment of Stuart Chappell as general manager of the five-star Corinthia Hotel St George’s Bay, in St Julian’s.

Mr Chappell comes to Malta from a long career in the hospitality industry in the UK and more recently China, where he was general manager for the 440-room five-star Guoman Hotel Beijing. Prior to his move to China, he was general manager of the 1,000-room Cumberland Hotel in Marble Arch, London, with additional responsibility for the 700-room Thistle Marble Arch, London.
