KPMG, which provides audit, tax and advisory services, will be investing €2.5 million in the renovation of its premises in Marina Street, Pieta.

The offices were today visited by Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi who congratulated the company, which has a 55 per cent female workforce.

This, Dr Gonzi said, was similar to the university where a 60 per cent female participation was being approached.

Dr Gonzi said KPMG was an employer which clearly understood the importance of holding on to its staff so offered flexible measures. He hoped other employers would follow KPMG's example.
