11 a.m. Mrs Abela visits St Benedict Primary School in Għaxaq in connection with the Piggy Bank Campaign.

11 a.m. The President is presented with the Budget declaration for endorsement by Finance Ministry director general Joseph Brincat at San Anton Palace, Attard.

6 p.m. He is presented with the Budget speech, estimates and Economic Survey by Finance Minister Tonio Fenech at the Palace, Valletta.

Tuesday

9 a.m. Mrs Abela visits St Edward’s School in Vittoriosa in connection with the Piggy Bank Campaign.

11 a.m. She visits Vittoriosa Primary School in connection with the Piggy Bank Campaign.

Noon. She presides over the Malta Community Chest Fund board meeting at San Anton Palace.

Wednesday

10.30 a.m. The President receives Australian High Commissioner Anne Marie Quinane on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

12.30 p.m. He receives Prince Edward on a courtesy call at San Anton Palace.

1 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela host a luncheon in honour of Prince Edward at San Anton Palace.

5.30 p.m. The President presides over the presentation ceremony of the President’s Gold Award at the Palace, Valletta.

Thursday

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with a donation in aid of L-Istrina 2011 by the mayor, councillors and members of local organisations of Dingli council, at San Anton Palace.

11.30 a.m. He is presented with a donation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund by students who attended Skolasajf at San Anton Palace.

6.30 p.m. The President and Mrs Abela attend a thanksgiving Mass on the occasion of this year’s graduation celebrations at St John’s Co-Cathedral, Valletta.

Friday

9.30 a.m. Mrs Abela visits Miriam Al Batool School in Paola in connection with the Piggy Bank Campaign.

10.30 a.m. The President is presented with the publication entitled Il-Malti by members of the Akkademja tal-Malti at San Anton Palace.

10.30 a.m. Mrs Abela visits St Theresa Girl Secondary School in Mrieħel in connection with the Piggy Bank Campaign.

7.30 p.m. The President attends a Sterling Jewellers event in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund at Portomaso, St Julian’s.

11 a.m. Mrs Abela visits McDonalds in Luqa in connection with McHappy Day.
