Government launches budget applications for iPhone, iPad and Android

A Malta budget application for iPhone, iPad and Android has been set up by the government to give the public the opportunity to follow the latest budget news.

The government said that during the presentation of the budget, the public will also be able to follow budget information live on the Malta Budget facebook and twitter sites.

Once the budget is presented, the people will be able to call 188 for any information or to ask questions.

The telephone line will be operated until midnight tomorrow and from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily between Tuesday and November 27. The public can also e-mail malta.budget@gov.mt .

The budget document and other information can also be obtained from www.opm.gov.mt/budget2012 .

With an eu smartphone market share of just 8% and shrinking, I guess they had to draw the line somewhere.The infamous October outage hasn't done the Canadian firm any favours, either.
