New seamless surfaces brand

Local importer and distributor of timber, parquet and laminate flooring JTS Trading has added the Staron by Samsung brand to its portfolio of products.

Staron is an acrylic solid surface material for homes and commercial settings. Durable, stain-resistant, hygienic and easy to clean, it is mostly used for kitchen and bathroom countertops, backsplashes, shower walls, tub surrounds and table tops.

Staron solid surfaces have imperceptible seams, which enables designers to integrate sinks, backsplashes and countertops into a smooth, one-piece kitchen or bathroom system.

The thermoplastic property of the material allows for unusual edges, custom wall features and back panels, creative design inlays or unusual sculptures.

Staron is available in more than 70 colours and is a non-porous material, resisting bacteria, mould and moisture from penetrating the surface.

Since the colour and pattern is uniform throughout, scratches, chips and stains can be sanded out and the surface ‘renewed’ – reconditioned and restored – to its original finish.

Staron products are Greenguard certified and also come with a 10-year warranty.
