Malta University Consulting Ltd is organising a short 10-week course entitled ‘Understanding young people in today’s society’, starting on November 28 at the University Residence, Robert Mifsud Bonnici Street, Lija.

The course’s main aim is to analyse youth in local contemporary society. It will tackle provocative and controversial issues, intended to enable participants to develop a critical appreciation of some of the most significant challenges affecting young people today, and the way they are designing their lives around these realities.

The course co-coordinator and trainer is Andrew Azzopardi a senior lecturer at University. He lectures and conducts research on inclusive education, sociology, critical pedagogy, disability politics, youth and community studies.

He has published extensively in the field of disability studies and inclusive education and is a member of the editorial panel of the International Journal of Inclusive Education.

A certificate of attendance will be awarded to participants who attend at least 80 per cent of the sessions.
