6pm wins EMC 2011 Partner Innovation Award

IT solutions company 6pm was one of 10 EMC² global partners to receive an EMC Partner Innovation Award 2011 at a ceremony in Berlin a few days ago.

The Naxxar-based company was honoured for ‘Outstanding Industry Solution for Healthcare’ in recognition of its integratedelectronic documentation and medical records management solution.

The easy-to-use solution developed by 6pm in partnership with NHS Trusts converts paper clinical records into electronic images that can be managedand archived for future retrieval directly from the care recordsystem.

It takes security requirements over personal information into account and all access to the system and modifications to the documents are audited and logged in so that there is user traceability.

The award was received by 6pm chief sales officer Steve Wightman and chief technical officer Brian Zarb Adami.
