An action plan with clear proposals aimed at helping the Marsaxlokk players and club has been presented to the Marsaxlokk FC acting committee by the Malta Football Players Association.
Earlier this month Marsaxlokk FC players asked the MFPA to intervene because of the situation within the club.
Within a few days the club's president, cashier, secretary and PRO resigned. The first team coach also resigned and there was no medical staff present at training sessions and official games. Players have not received their salaries for the past months.
The MFPA said that common ground was found during a meeting and it expected the club's feedback by the end of the week.
