Middlesea supports the Malta Red Cross Society

Middlesea Insurance is supporting the Malta Red Cross Society by donating money for the training of volunteers, capacity building, upkeep of vehicles and refurbishment of premises.

The presentation took place at Middlesea House in Floriana in the presence of Christopher Borg, vice-president of Corporate Services.

“On behalf of Middlesea Insurance, I am glad we have this opportunity to sustain our support to the Malta Red Cross Society, a team of people who work relentlessly and voluntarily in their mission to save and improve lives,” said Mr Borg.

“Supporting and showing our solidarity with such noble causes and worthy organisations is our way of putting into practice our company policy of giving back to the community in which we operate.”

He encouraged further support to such societies both in terms of financial support and volunteers.

The Malta Red Cross Society expressed its gratitude to Middlesea Insurance for its continuous support through the years, saying it was through such support that it could carry out its work for the benefit of society.
