• A vintage motors festival will be held in Għajnsielm, Nadur, Sannat and Xagħra today.

Participants will meet in Għajnsielem at 9 a.m., from where static show drivers will proceed to locations in Nadur, Sannat and Xagħra.

Cars will all be pre-1977 models and the first competitor is due to leave the start in Għajnsielem square at 10 a.m.; all other competitors will follow at one-minute intervals. The rally finishes in Nadur where prizes will be given.

• The Gozo Bands Association will be celebrating the feast of St Cecilia today.

Gozo Bishop Mario Grech will celebrate Mass at Kerċem parish church at 6 p.m. The St Gregory Band of Kerċem will hold a march from near the parish church at 7 p.m.

• Green Hornet will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m.

• A book and religious items fair by Librerija Preca will be held at the Seminary in Victoria today between 8.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.

• Masses at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary will be held today at 6.15 a.m., 8.30, 10, 11.15 and 5 p.m. At 6 p.m. there will be the recital of the rosary, followed by Eucharistic benediction.

• The Richmond Foundation, in collaboration with the Malta Community Chest Fund, has embarked on a new project entitled ‘Overcoming barriers: supported employment for youths’. As part of the project, the foundation will be organising a seminar at Nadur council on Wednesday between 1 and 4 p.m.

• The Directorate for Lifelong Learning will be holding a meeting on the scholarship scheme: ‘Strategic Educational Pathways Scholarships’ (STEPS) at the Gozo Centre for Art and Crafts in Għajnsielem on Friday at 6 p.m.

Interested candidates in possession of a first degree honours (minimum second class) or a general degree (second class) and a Post Graduate Diploma may apply for the scheme. Applications close on November 30.

• The Kenn u Tama Foundation will be organising a buffet at the Cornucopia Hotel on Friday at 8 p.m. in aid of Dar Emmaws.

• The diocesan Eucharistic Movement will be holding a prayer evening at Xewkija parish church on Saturday at 8 p.m., followed by Mass at midnight.

• The Bethel Charismatic Group will be holding a prayer meeting at the church of Our Lady of Pompeii, Victoria, on Saturdayat 7 p.m.

• Two fund-raising dinners in aid of the Seminary in Gozo are to be held at the same Seminary on Saturday and next Sunday. Tickets can be obtained from the Seminary, the Seminary Dames and the Friends of the Seminary.

• The Gozo Philatelic Society will be holding its 12th Philatelic Exhibition at the Exhibition Hall, St Francis Square, Victoria, from Saturday to November 18. All members are invited to participate. The theme for the exhibition is ‘Nature and nurture’. Entrance is free.
