Corinthia Hotels has appointed seasoned hotelier Liam Lambert as its chief operating officer. Mr Lambert will be directing Corinthia Hotels’ strategic operational objectives to maximise product quality, guest satisfaction and profitability across all owned and managed hotels.

Mr Lambert joins Corinthia Hotels following an illustrious international career spanning 30 years and four continents. His last appointment was that of president of Oberoi Hotels and Resorts. Prior to that, he was director of operations in Europe, Africa and the Middle East for Mandarin Oriental Hotels.

I am truly excited by the prospect of working as both coach and team-player in helping to grow the Corinthia portfolio,” said Mr Lambert.

With his vast experience and extensive international luxury hospitality knowledge, Liamwill be influential in giving life to our brand values across our collection of hotels,while providing a sound operational platform to our growth.”

Mr Lambert, an Irish citizen, is a graduate of Harvard Business School.

Initially, he will operate from his London base, before relocating to the company’s headquarters in Malta next year.
