LSC role in Academy training camp

The Liverpool Supporters Club (LSC) Malta have issued a statement emphasising their leading role in bringing over the Liverpool International Soccer School training camp to our islands this week.

“It is actually the Liverpool Supporters Club Malta through their hard work and dedication who have lured the famous Liverpool Football Club academy to the Maltese islands,” the statement, signed by LSC secretary James Vella, said.

“Qormi FC Youth Nursery, to whom LSC Malta are grateful in view of their help and assistance mainly with regards to providing facilities, have been involved in this event primarily in a supporting role.”

The three-day Liverpool Academy training camp at the Qormi FC grounds ends today.

On Saturday, there will be a session in Gozo.

A team of seven coaches from the Liverpool Academy, headed by David Ridler, are conducting the training sessions.
