Cooler, drier weather last month
Cooler and drier weather than average was recorded last month, the Malta International Meteorological Office said.
October had an average of 6.9 hours of sunshine and an average humidity of 72 per cent. Thunderstorms were heard from the airport on six days.
The mean temperature of 20.1°C was cooler than the average of 20.7°C for the month. The highest temperature was 27.1°C on the 1st while the lowest was 12.4°C on the 18th.
