Diesel and kerosene prices will go up by 1c per litre from today, Enemalta announced.

There will be no change in the prices of unleaded petrol and gasoil for heating, while a litre of diesel or kerosene will cost €1.32.

The corporation said the prices reflected its latest purchase costs. It added that according to the latest Oil Prices Bulletin, published by the European Commission, petrol and diesel prices in Malta were ranked 14th and 11th lowest respectively among EU member states.

The report also showed that consumer petrol and diesel prices in Malta were below the EU averages of €1.51 per litre and €1.39 per litre respectively, the corporation said.

In October, diesel and kerosene prices went up by 2c and unleaded petrol by 1c.
