AZZOPARDI. On October 30, at Mater Dei Hospital, GIORGIA, widow of Amabile, residing at Fleur-de-Lys, aged 75, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. She leaves to mourn her loss her daughters Jennifer and her husband Philip Mifsud, Anne Marie and her husband Manuel Gauci, Josephine and her husband Mario Grech, and Grace Camilleri, her son Philip and his partner Mary, her grandchildren and great-grandson, her brothers and sisters and their families, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for the Carmelite parish church, Balluta, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment in the family grave at St Andrew Cemetery, Żebbuġ. No flowers by request but donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

SCHEMBRI. On October 29, at Mater Dei Hospital, PAUL of Gżira, aged 85, passed peacefully away comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Doris, née Sammut, his children Mario, Donald, Ligia, Juanella, Silvana and Doriana, their spouses, grandchildren, great-grandson, his sisters Pauline and Jane, brother Victor, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital today at 1.30 p.m. for Mount Carmel parish church, Gżira, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant him eternal rest.

VELLA. On October 31, LORENZA, aged 81, from Qawra, residing at Mellieħa Home, passed away peacefully, comforted by the rites of Holy church. She leaves to mourn her great loss, her children Mario and his wife Carmen, Isabelle and her husband Dennis Baldacchino, Anna, Angel and her husband Alex Micallef, her sister Esther Farrugia and family, grand-children, other relatives and friends. The funeral leaves Mater Dei Hospital at 8 a.m. tomorrow for St. Francis of Assisi church, Qawra, where Mass præsente cadavere will be said at 8.30 a.m., followed by interment in the family grave at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Lord, grant her eternal rest.
