Diesel, kerosene, to cost more from tomorrow

The price of unleaded petrol remains unchanged but diesel and kerosene prices are up.

The price of unleaded petrol remains unchanged but diesel and kerosene prices are up.

Diesel and kerosene prices will go up by one cent per litre as from tomorrow, Enemalta announced.

There will be no change in the prices of unleaded petrol and gasoil for heating.

As from tomorrow, a litre of diesel or kerosene will cost €1.32.

The corporation said the prices reflect its latest purchase costs.

Very true, Mr. Briffa, money does not grow on trees. All the expenses you mention are quite essential.

But when we need to spend €2,000,000 plus on a bridge to nowhere, it seems that money does grow on trees after all.

I do not agree with you that it will come down before the next general election but all will be fixed when PL will be in government, Petrol Diesel etc down, low electricity rates, gas will be cheaper you just wait and see Genna ta' l-art.

You are quite right Mr. Micallef, 0.34 is less than peanuts and nobody will notice.

But multiply than by 300,000 cars and it will be a handy sum. €102,000 to be precise. Multiply that by more times in a year, and it would look more interesting. The Minster of Finance will love that.
