• The annual Inspire walk is celebrating its 10th anniversary today. The walk will start at 9 a.m. from the large roundabout to the north of Vjal il-Ħaddiem, Rabat (near Nigret). The walk will also include a few historical stops along the way by the Malta Ramblers Association.
• The Inter-College Astronomical Observatory (incorporating both astronomy groups at Stella Maris College, Gżira and De La Salle College, Cottonera) will be commemorating Yuri Gagarin’s pioneering spaceflight at Stella Maris College, Gżira, tomorrow at 6.30 p.m. There will be four brief presentations, an exhibition of Nasa images as well as a number of telescopes on display. • A bazaar will be held at St Helen parish centre, Birkirkara (behind the basilica), from November 8 to November 16 daily from 9 a.m. to noon and from 4.30 to 7 p.m.; Sunday morning only. There will be home-grown pot plants, furniture items, antiques and bric a brac.
• Din L-Art Ħelwa and Friends of Ta’ Braxia Association will be holding an All Souls service at the Memorial Chapel of Ta’ Braxia Cemetery, Pieta, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Rev. Canon Simon Godfrey will conduct the service.
• The Physically Handicapped Rehabilitation Fund is holding a requiem Mass for the souls of former PHRF members and benefactors at their headquarters at Corradino Hill, Paola, on Thursday at 11.30 a.m. All members, friends and relatives of former council members and benefactors are invited.

• Cavalieri Hotel is organising an event in aid of the Community Chest Fund. The event will take place on November 26. The programme includes a treasure hunt and other activities such as painting, sculpture, photography and ceramics. There will be artists working or exhibiting on site.
