• Mass will be said aboard a Gozo Channel ferry today at 10.30 a.m. at the site of one of the worst sea tragedies 63 years ago, in which 23 people had drowned.

• An international martial arts seminar, organised by Tenchi Ryu Karate Juku (Gozo) Club, will be held at the Victoria Sports Complex today at 9 a.m. The seminar will be conducted by Master Borut Kincl, 6th Dan Black Belt, founder of the Ryukyu Kempo Arnis Federation and head instructor of Slovenia Special Forces. The seminar will be opened by Gozo Minister Giovanna Debono.

• A charity sale organised by the Friends of the Sick and Elderly in Gozo will be held at the football ground near the main parking in Victoria today between 8 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Space for each caris €10.
