The Horticultural Society was invited by the Office of the Prime Minister to put on a floral art exhibition and demonstrations during the recent Notte Bianca.

The fountain in the main courtyard of Auberge de Castille was transformed for by floral designer Mariuccia Micallef Grimaud and her two daughters, Nadine and Glorian, together with their students.

Exotic flowers brought over from abroad for the occasion were intended to echo the cascades of water flowing from the six large urns held in nymphs’ arms. The nymphs’ heads were also adorned with garlands of flowers.

An artist chose to capture the beauty of the fountain on her canvas.
