I think that’s rather far-fetched! But there’s no doubt that the interest in atheism has increased in the Western world. This was a reaction to the relentless militancy and fanaticism of Christians and Muslims alike.

Best-sellers like The God Delusion by Richard Dawkins and God Is Not Great by Christopher Hitchens clearly indicate an interest in atheism in the Western world. Both of these books help to dispel the delusions and absurdities of religious beliefs.
