In the item titled Court Slashes Driving Ban Over Accident, which appeared yesterday, The Times reported that Maximilian Ciantar, 21, of Marsa “was never charged with driving negligently and dangerously”. In fact, the police did accuse him of negligent and dangerous driving over the Attard accident in which two young girls were badly injured in a hit-and-run last year.

The error is regretted.
