The Environmental Health Directorate has warned the organisers of outdoor events  that they must ensure that food stalls satisfy food handling and sanitary regulations.The regulations can be found at: https://ehealth.gov.mt/HealthPortal/others/foodsafetycom/legislation/food_legislation.aspx and a short explanation can be found on the document ‘Food Safety Legislation Explained’ which can be accessed at: https://ehealth.gov.mt/download.aspx?id=5287.

The directorate said it would monitor such events and take action as necessary.
