The Inspire Foundation is this week welcoming primary school students at its premises in Marsascala where they can meet members of the police force and their four-legged friends.

This educational fund-raising activity, the Inspire Police Awareness Week, held in collaboration with the Police Force, is being held daily between 9.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. until Friday. Officers from various police sections will be holding shows and interactive talks, including a dog show, a mounted police show, a mobile squad unit show and stunts by the Special Assignment Group.

The event aims at raising awareness among primary school students about the duties of different sections within the police squad. Visits for this educational fundraising activity can be booked for students between Years 1 and 6 for €3 each. All proceeds from this event will fund the disability programmes of Inspire, which cost €3 million annually.

Those interested can contact Sarah Pace on 2189 0000, 9905 6995 or sarah.pace@inspire.org.mt.
