A one-day workshop, themed ‘Entrepreneurship’, hosted by Impetus Europe Consulting Group as part of the forthcoming Job Fair ‘Youth@ Work 2011’, will take place on Saturday at the Mediterranean Conference Centre, Valletta.

The fair aims to provide a concentration of career-related activities and to help young people integrate in the world of work.

Youth @ Work 2011 is run by the European Commission and operates in close cooperation with the EURES network and national Public Employment Services (PES). The workshop is co-financed by the ESF.

The fair will consist of a number of presentations, workshops and discussions led by a panel of speakers. It is therefore a unique opportunity for young people planning to pursue a business-related career to learn, discuss and interact with some of Malta’s prominent business leaders, people who are constantly in touch with real challenges and requirements within a areal business scenario.

“These interactive workshops help young people to consider the work and the achievements of 23 million small- and medium-sized enterprises already present in Europe and to regard these as their potential employers. We also want to use this event as an opportunity to encourage budding entrepreneurs to take the plunge and start their own business,” explains Morgan Parnis, from Impetus Europe Consulting Group, organisers of the workshop on behalf of Mostra S.A.

The panel of speakers will include reputable individuals from the world of accountancy, IT, research and training as well as marketing and PR.

All interested individuals are requested to contact Ian Bugeja on ian.bugeja@impetuseurope.com or by calling 2205 4653.
