Alison Bezzina, a writer from Malta, was named a finalist in the latest "America's Funniest Humor!" writing contest held by HumorPress.com, one of the internet's highest-ranking humor contest sites.

For her accomplishment, Ms Bezzina has earned publication in HumorPress.com's online humor showcase plus publication in HumorPress.com's online humor showcase.

Her entry, "Dr. Smith at your Cervix," where speculates on the speculum and get intimate with the misunderstandings and blunders that come out of a visit to a male gynaecologist.

"Dr. Smith at your Cervix" will be featured in the current showcase through mid-December 2011, after which new results from the bi-monthly contest will be posted.
