French first family at maternity clinic for birth

France's President Nicolas Sarkozy has arrived at the Paris maternity clinic where his supermodel wife Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is due to give birth.

Huge crowds of reporters and onlookers have gathered behind security barriers outside the La Muette clinic after reports that the 43-year-old first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy is expecting an imminent delivery.
