Beckham: David Beckham looks set to visit Singapore and Indonesia on a promotional tour in the coming weeks. Beckham and his LA Galaxy team are “80 per cent” confirmed to stop off in Southeast Asia en route to their friendly game in Melbourne in early December. Tentative dates for Singapore, where Galaxy would meet fans and run a football clinic for youngsters, are December 1-3.

Kayal: Celtic midfielder Beram Kayal has committed to the Scottish Premier League club until the summer of 2015. The 23-year-old Israel midfielder has been in negotiations for a number of months after looking to improve his terms following an impressive debut season.

Barrios: Borussia Dortmund will be without Paraguay striker Lucas Barrios for today’s Champions League clash against Olympiakos in Greece after he injured a calf muscle in training. The 26-year-old broke down in training on Monday and a hospital scan revealed he has strained his calf and is also suffering with a back injury.

Diarra: Real Madrid midfielder Lassana Diarra missed yesterday’s Champions League tie against Lyon after tearing a thigh muscle in training, the Spanish team’s medical service confirmed. The French international was also forced to pull out of Monday’s training session.

Ramires: Chelsea midfielder Ramires is out of today’s Champions League clash against Genk after suffering a knee injury. Ramires was forced to come off midway through the second half of Saturday’s 3-1 win over Everton. Manager Andre Villas-Boas revealed that he hadn’t recovered in time to face the Belgians at Stamford Bridge.
