Student media organisation Insite is holding its IC Weekend at the Baystreet Hotel in Paceville between November 11 and 13.

The conference offers students the chance to improve their media skills and get in touch with experts in the field, with workshops focusing on photography, video, and journalism, led by some of the local industry’s top professionals.

The weekend includes various social events to allow participants a chance to relax and mingle with like-minded students.

Over the past four years, the IC Weekend has connected over 400 students and 30 media professionals, and a number of past participants have moved on to media careers.

The conference has also been certified as a Degreeplus credit, enabling students to have their participation re-cognised on their degree transcript.
