Jordanian artist Naji Muneer placed first in the Opulence theme in the 2011 Skywards Future Artists Competition with this work of art which was created using digital and physical models. Skywards is Emirates Airline’s frequent flyer programme. Along with two other winners, Muneer’s art will be featured on Skywards 2012 membership cards as well as receive a commission of €3,600 and will be flown to Dubai, where winning entries and design portfolios will be exhibited at the Art Dubai fair early next year.
