Inter Club Malta in Sicily partnership

Inter Club Malta launched a partnership with the Centro Co-ordinamento Inter Clubs of Sicily during an activity at the club’ s premises in Santa Venera earlier this month.

Several representatives of the various Inter Supporters Club branches in Sicily were present for the occasion.

John Zammit, the president of Inter Club Malta, said the twinning agreement was first proposed by Mario Chillura, the director of the Inter clubs in Sicily, when he visited the local club to take part in a seminar during the summer.

After consulting his fellow committee members on the matter, Zammit said he was delighted to accept Chillura’s proposal and helped the Inter fan clubs in Sicily to organise a holiday in Malta to mark the occasion.

Chillura, on behalf of the Sicilian Inter Clubs, thanked Zammit and the Inter Club Malta committee for responding positively to his proposal to form a partnership, adding that these kind of initiatives help to strengthen the excellent rapport between the two parties.

Members of Inter fan clubs in Agrigento (El Principe), Catania Centro Storico, Enna, Ravanusa, Sciacca Terme, Serradifalco and Siracusa visited Malta for the launch of this twinning agreement.
