The new Arriva bus route No.32 coming from San Ġwann and proceeding to Valletta goes down Rue D’Argens, Gżira.

This was a welcome addition to the new routes. At the bottom of the road, at the intersection opposite GasanMamo Insurance Company, the bus turns left into Msida Road and at the intersection opposite the garden turns right to proceed up Abate Rigord Street.

This diversion is totally unnecessary as besides adding minutes to the journey it doesn’t serve the residents of upper Rue D’Argens and Princess Margaret Street in Msida, while the residents in the vicinity of Abate Rigord Street are well served by other Arriva buses.

In the circumstances, it is recommended that this No. 32 bus continues on its way as the former Savoy bus No. 60 used to do, that is up Rue D’Argens (Wembley Ice Cream Factory way), turns into Princess Margaret Street and then down Abate Rigord Street, Msida on its way to Valletta.
