The Cospicua local council has called on Transport Malta to remove the hazardous parts of a pavement jutting out onto Triq Daħlet it-Tlitt Ibliet. The pavement was built about three months ago as part of roadworks carried out in the area.

No road signage indicated the sudden curve pointing to the middle of the road where a number of accidents occurred, the council said. It also criticised the accumulation of rubbish in the city and said that St Paul Bastion, which offered majestic views of the harbour, had been neglected.
