A young man who organises non-alcoholic parties for teens and pre-teens at various nightclubs is currently serving a suspended sentence for engaging in sexual activities with a 13-year-old girl, The Sunday Times has learnt.

Magistrate at the time had explained to the young man the consequences of his actions

The 20-year-old man, who had pleaded guilty to the offence last year, was handed a 10-month prison term suspended for two years, which means committing another crime during this period is likely to land him in jail.

Meanwhile, the police are investigating claims that underage dancers were employed at his parties to perform erotically in lingerie costumes.

This comes in the wake of a series of reports by The Times.

Photos uploaded to Facebook also show unsavoury interaction between men in their 20s and girls as young as 12.

The parties themselves have sparked controversy, particularly among parents, due to the “unhealthy mix” of children as young as 11 and adults in their 20s.

The Children’s Commissioner has already said she would be proposing amendments to the law to ensure a maximum age limit for such parties.

Venues receive a special permit to allow access to under-17s on condition that alcohol cannot be displayed or consumed on the premises. However, some witnesses have claimed the alcohol is sold from car boots outside the venues.

According to the court reports, the minor was his friend. Her family had withdrawn the charge of “corruption of a minor”, because she had willingly taken part in the sexual activities. The magistrate at the time had explained to the young man the consequences of his actions and warned him what would happen if he were to commit another crime.
