"Police said the driver, a 19-year-old Żurrieq, lost control of the vehicle, and crashed into a wall." How many times do we have to hear this cliche? You lose control of your vehicle if you're speeding or not taking care of adjusting your normal speed when the roads are wet and slippery.
Maybe an IQ test should be included before giving out licenses. If you USED your brains you will never cause accidents (you just have to worry about some other maniac who might crash into you thats all...lol). That's why my car is still in perfect condition :).

here we go again with the ubquitous "DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE" blanket -cover statement which always is issued by the police as though this is the justifiable rationalistion for all road incidents. When are we going to be informed of the true reason -after a through investigation -for precisely how and why the drivers lost control as we never subjected to any follow-up reports or publication in the newpapers?
