Wirt Għawdex celebrates

Wirt Għawdex celebrated its 30th anniversary with a ‘Bash on the Bastions’ at the society’s Gunpowder Magazine site at the Citadel in Victoria.

Those who attended were entertained by soprano Rosabelle Pavia accompanied on the guitar by Joseph Engerer, who gave an upbeat repertoire of Neapolitan and Maltese songs.

Members and friends ended the evening by cutting an anniversary cake.
