Atlas Group opens branch office in St Paul’s Bay

Atlas Insurance and Atlas JMFS Investment Services Limited have opened a branch in Triq Toni Bajada, St Paul’s Bay.

Atlas Insurance chief executive officer Michael Gatt and Atlas JMFS Investment Services joint managing director Jesmond Mizzi said the branch will offer a range of personal insurance services including motor, boat, home and travel, a claims service, and investment advice on local and international bonds and shares, besides collective investment schemes.

The branch is ideally positioned in Malta’s second largest community after Birkirkara. Mayor Graziella Galea told guests at the official opening that the growth of St Paul’s Bay and its outlying areas had been “impressive”, swelling to more than 60,000 in the summer.

Mr Gatt said St Paul’s Bay was no longer a summer residents’ community but has evolved into a hub of activity for the north of Malta.

“The branch opening demonstrates Atlas’ commitment to adapt to the needs of the community in which it operates, and is an important step for the group to further strengthen its market penetration capabilities,” he added. The St Paul’s Bay branch is open on weekdays and on Saturday mornings.
