The Blood Bank has issued an urgent call for donations of type “O Positive” and “O Negative” and urged all those who are healthy to donate blood as soon as possible.

Donors can call at the blood bank outside St Luke’s Hospital in Guardamangia, between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily, including public holidays, or at the Gozo General Hospital Monday to Saturday between 8.30 and 11.30 a.m.

Donors have to be in possession of their identity card or driving licence.
