Misurata mayor thanks Malta

Khalifa A. Alzwawi, the chairman of Misurata's local council, has written to Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi expressing gratitude to Malta.
"Behalf of Misrata's people, we offer our thanks and gratitude to the people and the government of Malta for their continues support and assistance in the aid program as well as receiving and treating the sick and injured from the city of Misrata, we very much appreciate the important and historical role that Malta continue to play in this crucial period to achieve our goals in gaining our freedom.
"We look for more cooperation between the Misrata and Malta in the future."

I really like the picture I've never seen anything like this .A soldier wearing a shot up WW2 swedish helmet I just wounder how he came across this helmet in Libya? and the bullet holes are from an AKM and the big exit hole is from much larger caliber maybe a 50.Cal.Amazing

Most probably he shot at the helmet from all angles when it was lying on the ground!
